Perspective Lecture presentations are 60 minutes in total – 45 minutes of presentation and 15 minutes Q&A time.
Session Speaker Presentations
Session Speaker presentations are 30 minutes in total – 25 minutes of presentation and 5 minutes Q&A time.
Poster sessions are held in the Mathews Pavilion, right behind Sir John Clancy Auditorium.
Please remember your poster board number and attach your poster with velcro. The velcro for your poster may be picked up from the ICP13 registration desk.
There are three poster sessions:
Poster Session 1:
Session 1 posters can be displayed from Monday 2 September at 0800 until 1700 at the Mathews Pavilion of UNSW.
Session 1 presenters are asked to stand by their posters on Monday 2 September from 1330 until 1615.
All posters must be removed from display after poster session 1 on Monday 2 September at 1700.
Poster Session 2:
Session 2 posters can be displayed from Tuesday 3 September at 0800 until Wednesday 4 September at 1300 at the Mathews Pavilion of UNSW.
Session 2 presenters are asked to stand by their posters on Tuesday 3 September from 1330 until 1615.
All posters must be removed from display by Wednesday 4 September at 1300.
Poster Session 3:
Session 3 posters can be displayed from Thursday 5 September 0800 until Friday 6 September 1300 at the Mathews Pavilion of UNSW.
Session 3 presenters are asked to stand by their posters on Thursday 5 September from 0900 until 1145.
All posters must be removed from display by Friday 6 September at 1300.
The ICP13 Organising Committee takes no responsibility for posters that are not collected.
There won’t be (poster) printing facilities at the Conference but you can get your poster printed at the Green Print Centre at UNSW – details here; https://www.greenprint.unsw.edu.au/.
Please note; there is a 24hr turnaround.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
How long should my abstract be?
Your abstract should have a maximum of 350 words.
When do abstract submissions close?
Abstract submissions close on Wednesday 1 May 2019.
Can I submit more than one abstract and is there a cost involved?
Yes, multiple abstract submissions are permitted. However, while the first poster submission is free, additional poster submissions will incur a $50 fee per accepted submission.
Can I edit my abstract?
Yes, you may view and edit your abstract in the Submission Portal. However, once you have submitted your abstract, you will need to contact the Conference Secretariat if you wish to make any further changes.
When will I be notified of my abstract's status?
Poster submissions will be reviewed regularly and notification of the outcome will be sent within 3-4 weeks of submission (please note that during the Christmas and January period reviews will be intermittent).
Do I need to register for ICP13?
Yes, all presenting authors must register by Friday 24 May 2019 for their posters to be included in the Conference program.
If I've submitted an abstract and I want to withdraw, what do I do?
Presenting authors are allowed to withdraw their abstract by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org at any time until Friday 24 May 2019.

Terms and conditions
It is a condition of acceptance of the poster that at least the presenting author must register to attend the Conference and present the poster within the dedicated poster sessions. Posters submitted before payment of registration are eligible for an offer of acceptance but final acceptance requires registration and payment by the deadline of 24 May 2019. Submission of posters implies the author's agreement to publish the poster in all Conference publications including the website.
Acceptance of posters does not imply any payment from the Conference Committee. Authors must arrange and pay their own accommodation, travel etc. to attend the Conference. Acceptance or otherwise is at the discretion of the Conference Program Committee whose decision is final.
Every delegate registered is entitled to one free poster submission. Additional poster submissions will incur a $50 fee per accepted submission. Once the poster has been approved an invoice will be issued with the additional submission cost.
Poster submissions will be reviewed regularly and notification of the outcome will be sent within 3-4 weeks of submission (apart from during the Christmas and January period where reviews will be intermittent.)
